Hurrah!

I understand how upset some of you were when we announced the closure of the site, and loads of you guys requested the forums to remain open. Well I have good news for you.

Thanks to forum moderator Lucy we are now able to keep the forums online for you to use! Lucy has volunteered to keep an eye on things so spam is still not tolerated and you all need still to abide by the forum rules.

Thank Lucy if you get the chance - this wouldn’t happen without her!

Due to a lack of response from Granada Media regarding the previous post, we have decided to officially close Britannia High Fans. This means that from September 15th 2009 we will cease to update the site and the forums will also be closed. Our social networking sites will remain online but will also no longer be updated.

However Britannia High Fans will remain online, meaning you can still access our videos, gallery and song lyrics etc.

The team and I have loved working on the site and we will not forget about the show. If any news about Britannia High returning to television arises then the site will continue to update and follow the new season.

We thank you once again for your continued support throughout our time online and hope your love for the show and its music never dies.

Hi guys!

I’m sure many of you are wondering why updates and new content have been so slow around the site in recent weeks, so here I am keeping you all in the know. On 4th August 2009, BritanniaHighFans sent an email to a representative of Granada Media asking for a more concrete answer as to whether or not a second series of Britannia High would be likely. The team and I have decided that if we get a response stating that there are no future projects planned for the show, our fansite will cease to be updated with the latest news.

Updating this site takes a lot of time and effort for everyone involved. Our aim was to use this fansite as a way to create a strong fanbase for a second series for Britannia High, to ensure it television success. It’s not that we don’t enjoy working on the site - we really do! - but if there is no future for the show many of us would like to spend this time working on other projects and fansites that would benefit more from it.

However, the site will be by no means closing! If a negative response is recieved then BritanniaHighFans will be turned into a complete archive of everything to do with Britannia High. The site will become a sort of online encyclopedia, and will remain your number 1 source for images, music, videos and more.

If we get news that Britannia High will once more grace our televsion screens then BritanniaHighFans will be following the new series and will continue to bring you the latest media and news as before.

We thank you for your continued support throughout our time online, and will keep you posted on the status of the site.

All the character/cast bio pages are being revamped at the moment, so please bear with us if there are any problems in that area of the site. It shouldn’t take long and they are gonna look great!

Bebo has changed the layout of it’s site and profiles to a more modern, less clunky look. For now, we have created a new skin for “Bebo 2.0″ and we really like it! However, this is now your chance to have your own say.

Please cast your vote in our new poll asking  if you prefer the new or old Bebo. The results will determine whether or not we keep the new appearance!

Welcome to the all-new relaunched BritanniaHighFans.co.uk! (and it is really all-new.)

It wasn’t long after we launched that we decided a redesign was needed. Unfortunately this took longer than expected, but, finally we’re there.We’ve ditched everything on the old site and started again.

Not only have we gone all out spending hours putting together a brand new website just for you.
